Tonight we have our usual mid-week service with an added bonus of a special presentation from the Patch the Pirate Kid’s Club. After the service a group of young teens are heading to the coast for a two day retreat – tomorrow is a holiday in Chile. In the morning, I’ll make the trip to the coast to be with the teens and youth leaders for a few hours. I’m looking forward to the teaching theme of the retreat - spiritual warfare! Saturday, I’m back in the usual events of visitation, meetings, message prep, and the evening youth meeting. Sunday morning we have a baptism service planned. God willing at least 13 or 14 will be baptized. I’ll try to put up some pictures of the retreat and the baptisms in a few days.
