One of the most exciting things from the 4 services that I attended, was that I only preached one of them.  The other 3 services were preached by our Bible college students.  What a thrill to see them give their lives to serve our Lord!

The guy who lead him to the Lord was saved at our church about 2 years ago and the following year was called into the ministry last year!! It’s thrilling to see our “son” in the faith give birth to new disciples!

Also this week, another man who is preparing for the ministry at our church conducted his first Lord’s Supper. This might now sound like a big deal to some, but it was a huge step for him to preach the message, administer the Lord’s Supper, and close the service.

There are few things that make me as proud as seeing my “children” walk in the truth!

This week we are having our first Sunday services!!

A team of guys from our ministry will be leading this new church plant!!!

We have 4 full-time students and 8 part-time students that are preparing for the ministry!! Each one is actively involved in a local-church ministries. It’s exciting to see how God is working in and through them.

Continue to pray that God will raise up more national leaders who will change Chile with the Gospel!!

Imagine, for the price of one Coke, these kids will invest in men who will be used to preach the gospel to literally thousands!!  Thanks to everyone at Lakeview Baptist for investing in the preachers and churches of Chile!!!

Today, someone gave $1,800 to the Chile Baptist College!! That will cover the budget for two months!

Since we arrived in Chile nearly 5 years ago, we’ve known the only way to effectively reach Chile with the gospel is to train the nationals to reach their own people. We must train men!

Thankfully, God is calling men to the ministry in Chile!! As missionaries, our responsibility now is to provide a solid doctrinal and practical preparation for them.

Our church planting strategy in Chile is to teach men and women in morning Bible college classes and work along their side in practical church ministries in the evenings and on the weekends. These young people will gain hands on experience as they prepare for the gospel ministry.

We have of a dozen students that are studying in our evening institute and five that have made a commitment to study in the morning classes of the Chile Bible College!

We need your help to continue developing these young men for the ministry.  Would you consider supporting these young preachers as they work with us to reach Chile with the gospel?
