We just confirmed today that a water issue at our house in Chile has not been resolved and will not be resolved for months.  It’s a widespread problem that has affected many residents in our area.

Our only option to have running water in our house in Chile when we return next week, is to dig a well this week!  The total cost of the well and pump will be $3,600.  Please pray about helping with this need!  We are contracting workers tomorrow for this project.  If you would like to help, send us an email at holt@biblicalmissions.com!

Lori, I love you with all my being.  God, in His infinite mercy, gave me a priceless jewel of a wife.  You’re incredibly, unimaginably, and ideally perfect for me!

Well… there are much more important things to do today besides postting a blog!  Gotta go!!

Last month I had the privilege to baptize our second child, Joshua, at our home church.  There are few prouder moments in a father’s life than to see his children follow the Lord!!  Pray with me that Josh will follow the Lord all the days of his life.

Yes!!  None other than Lori Samson (Holt) was crowned the Grasshopper Princess in 1983!!  Now I have the evidence to prove what I’ve always known – she’s a real princess!!

Grandma also had this coffee cup from Lori’s high school cheerleading days from the early 90s!  There’s no doubt that Grandma saves everything!!!!

One of our goals on furlough is to raise additional support for the ministry in Chile.  Due to the economic downturn in the USA and the devaluation of the dollar in Chile, we have lost 18% of our total support.  We trust that God will supply this need before we head back to Chile in February 2012.  Please pray with us about this need.
