Holt Kids on Furlough
Our three children having been thriving during our time in the U.S., although they don’t necessarily consider it home. Katie was only 28 days old when we left for the mission field, and Josh and Andrew were born in Chile. We are thankful for our home church and the thriving youth ministry there. Our kids have been actively involved in children’s ministries, choir, outreach, nursing home and other activities. We love seeing them grow in the Lord, and we are thrilled to hear them tell us stories of how they are witnessing to co-workers, bosses, tutors, and anyone they come in contact with. I think we might have some future missionaries on our hands!
Reaching Young Men
It’s incredibly encouraging to watch men you have discipled and trained reach out and do the same for others. Last year, Bastian accepted Christ as his Savior. A young man in the Chile training center has been discipling him since then, and he has been growing by leaps and bounds. Since we have been back on furlough, he has been serving in our teen Sunday school class, in children’s church, and in our music ministry at Liberty Baptist Church. This is what missions is all about. You help us start churches that reach people like Bastian, and we can’t wait see how God continues to use him! Thank you for your investment!
Land For Liberty
God has been richly blessing the ministry of Liberty Baptist Church, our most recent church plant in Chile. In our absence, the Chilean pastor and others have been aggressive in outreach and discipleship; and several new families have made decisions for Christ and have begun attending the services. Will you consider giving toward a land purchase for this fruit-bearing church? In the coming months we will be sharing more details about how God is moving in Liberty Baptist. All donations can be sent to: Vision Baptist Missions, PO Box 442, Alpharetta, GA 30009 with a memo “Liberty Land Fund – Chile”.
