Last Sunday the weirdest thing happened…  About 10 minutes after finishing the morning service, the whole building began to shake.  For a second I thought it was an earthquake.  Over the next 2 or 3 seconds the noise grew incredibly loud as the winds beat on the roof panels.  When I looked outside I could see more than 50 of our church members in the front yard of the church.  The wind was incredibly powerful, but it was all over in about 6-7 seconds.

I ran outside, still trying to figure out what was happening.  As I looked down the road, we all saw a small whirlwind, tornado moving through the neighborhood.

Later we discovered that two of the roof panels had been torn from the roof.  These two panels were hurled thew the air and landed across the street.  Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the damages cost less than $100.

Praise the Lord for His protection.
