Question #1 What kind of facilities do you have now and how well, or not, do they accommodate the size of your ministry?
God allowed us in 2007 to purchase property for our first church, Faith Baptist Church (Iglesia Bautista Fe). To comply with the zoning laws of Chile, we had to purchase 3 adjoining houses. These small houses (each about 750 square feet) were modified to accommodate an auditorium for 150 people and 6 classrooms for Sunday School and our Bible college. That property is completely paid for and being used every day. The church averages 150+ on Sunday morning and 110+ on Sunday evening and Thursday evening.
Just a few months ago we planted our second church, Omega Baptist Church. This church is led by one of the Chilean preachers who is studying full-time in our Bible College. Currently they average over 30 in attendance each week. Our goal is to help them purchase a piece of property soon for this church. They are using a temporary rented facility now.
This month we are planting our third church. More than 20 people come to Faith Baptist Church each week from an unreached part of Santiago. We plan to rent a small house this month to start a church in this area with one of our young Chilean preachers. Soon we will need property for this church!
